What This Product Says About Cyber Group What It Means For You
Thanks to our Engineering Expertise, rigorous Value Engineering Process, and the time- and cost-advantages of a Global Development Team, Cyber Group was able to create 10 functional prototypes of a new product – from scratch – in under 100 days.
When Cyber Group commits itself, we deliver.
“If anybody could do it, Cyber Group can.”.

The Story
The Biosonix RF-300 Fish Activator is a device which plays different sounds to attract fish. It can play a variety of “fish sounds” (that is, the sounds of fish feeding or fish in distress, which will attract other fish) in any desired sequence. User can easily download additional fish sounds from Biosonix or other sources and then create their own playlist of sounds.
It’s a single-processor system that handles high-quality audio output in real-time while still giving the user plenty of options, including alternating sounds and creating extended playlists of different sounds.
In December 2006 Biosonix began searching for a engineering group to design and develop the RF-300 Fish Activator. They needed to premiere 10 functional prototypes of the device for a ICAST trade show in Vegas around July 4, 2007.
They related the design requirements to several engineering firms; each one replied that it would take at least a year to create the functional prototypes. In May 2007 Biosonix asked Morgan Newton, a contract manufacturer, if they knew anybody that could do the design and provide them with 10 functional prototypes by July 4. Morgan Newton replied, “If anybody could do it, Cyber Group can.”
Read on to discover how we met Biosonix’s “impossible” requirements, or contact us today to see how we can solve your own intractable engineering problems. You might just save yourself a lot of time, trouble and money in the process.
